\n Back in 2015, President Trump condemned his ex-pal Jeffrey Epstein\u2019s private Caribbean island as a \u201ccesspool\u201d\u00a0 \u2014 and he invited reporters to grill Prince Andrew about the place, according to newly resurfaced footage.<\/p>\n

\u201cThat island was an absolute cesspool, there\u2019s no question about it,\u201d\u00a0 Trump told reporters, according to a clip posted by the Sun news<\/a>paper.<\/p>\n

Just ask Prince Andrew,\u201d Trump dished, flashing a slightly mischievous smile before adding, \u201cHe\u2019ll tell you about it. The island was an absolute cesspool.\u201d<\/p>\n

Trump linked the Duke of York to Epstein\u2019s so-called \u201cPedophile Island\u201d while talking to reporters about President Clinton\u2019s own links to the pervy millionaire, the Mail said.<\/p>\n

Trump was responding to questions posed by Fox News host Sean Hannity at the conservative CPAC in February, 2015, prior to entering the presidential race.<\/p>\n

At around that time, accuser Virginia Roberts Giuffre had alleged in a lawsuit that Epstein had kept her in sexual slavery at his properties, including on Little St. James in the Virgin Islands.<\/p>\n

Hannity had asked whether the scandal would affect Hillary Clinton\u2019s candidacy. Giuffre and former Epstein employees have said both Prince Andrew and Bill Clinton had visited the island.<\/p>\n
