Chapelwaite<\/i> is coming soon to EPIX, and a trailer and poster have been released teasing the latest series based on the work of Stephen King. Adrien Brody and Emily Hampshire star in the new take on the short story Jerusalem\u2019s Lot<\/i>.<\/p>\n

EPIX revealed the following about the upcoming series:<\/p>\n

\u201cSet in the 1850s, Chapelwaite<\/i> follows Captain Charles Boone (Brody), who relocates his family of three children to his ancestral home in the small, seemingly sleepy town of Preacher\u2019s Corners, Maine after his wife dies\u202fat sea.\u202fHowever,\u202fCharles\u202fwill soon have to\u202fconfront\u202fthe secrets of\u202fhis family\u2019s sordid history,\u202fand fight to end the darkness that has plagued the Boones for generations.<\/p>\n

Hampshire plays Rebecca Morgan, an ambitious young woman who left Preacher\u2019s Corners to attend\u202fMount Holyoke College, and has returned home with an advance\u202fto write a story for the new and prestigious Atlantic Magazine. \u202fHer writer\u2019s block lifts when Boone arrives in town with his children, and despite her mother\u2019s protests, Rebecca app<\/a>lies to be governess of the infamous Chapelwaite manor and the Boone family in order to write\u202fabout them. In doing so, Rebecca will not only craft the next great gothic novel, she\u2019ll unravel a mystery that has plagued her own family for years.<\/p>\n

In addition to Brody, the series is executive produced by Donald De\u202fLine (Ready Player One,\u202fWayward Pines<\/i>), Jason\u202fFilardi, Peter Filardi and Burr Steers. Chapelwaite is produced by EPIX Studios.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
