“#Iggy Pop to Narrate King Tutankhamun Documentary<\/strong>”<\/p>\n

Iggy Pop will narrate a new documentary about ancient Egyptian ruler King Tutankhamun, Variety<\/em><\/a> reports. The film, titled Tutankhamun: The Last Exhibition<\/em>, chronicles the archaeological history of the king\u2019s tomb, from its discovery in 1922 to the wildly popular travel<\/a>ing Tutankhamun<\/em> exhibition that opened in Los Angeles in 2019.<\/p>\n

The documentary was produced by Laboratoriorosso<\/a> and Nexo Digital<\/a>. Of recruiting Iggy Pop to narrate the English version of the film, Nexo Digital\u2019s Rosella Gioffr\u00e9 told Variety<\/em>: \u201cWe were looking for somebody that could give a different app<\/a>eal to the narration of the movie, and we thought of [Pop] and he accepted.\u201d<\/p>\n

Antiquities photographer Sandro Vannini, who appears in the film and helms Laboratoriorosso, added: \u201cWhen we heard his voice for the first time we said this is the voice.
