Former Jets quarterback Mark Sanchez is headed to Fox Sports to be an NFL game analyst, The Post has learned.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Sanchez, 34, is the latest ESPNer to move to Fox. Over the past year-and-a-half, Tom Rinaldi, Emmanuel Acho, Adam Amin and Jonathan Vilma have gone to Fox from ESPN.<\/p>\n

On Sundays, Sanchez is expected to work with Kevin Kugler, according to sources. Sanchez will be in the spot vacated by Chris Spielman, who left last season to help run the Detroit Lions.<\/p>\n

Sanchez, 34, did not make his final decision until late last week, when he informed ESPN officials that he was leaving. He has not yet signed his new contract, but the paperwork is expected to be finished shortly. Sanchez will likely app<\/a>ear on FS1\u2019s weekday programming, as well.<\/p>\n

Fox has reimagined its Sunday booths in recent years behind its No. 1 team of Joe Buck and Troy Aikman. This year, Kevin Burkhardt will have a new partner in Greg Olsen. Amin began last season on NFL play-by-play with Mark Schlereth. Vilma joined Kenny Albert last year. Kugler replaced Thom Brennaman.<\/p>\n

In limited work on games, Aqib Talib made an impression and could be part of the mix this season.<\/p>\n

Sanchez spent eight years in the NFL with his most notable success coming in his first two seasons, as he quarterbacked the Jets in back-to-back AFC Championship appearances.\n <\/p><\/div>\n
