\n The woman charged with using a cane to bash two NYPD cops over their heads on the Brooklyn Bridge whooped and jumped for joy when she was released from custody Friday afternoon.<\/p>\n

Chanice Reyes was app<\/a>arently so happy at being freed that she didn\u2019t even bother flipping the bird at a Post photographer \u2014 as she repeatedly did following her arrest a day earlier.<\/p>\n

After emerging from the Manhattan Detention Complex \u2014 also known as \u201cthe Tombs\u201d \u2014 Reyes, 25, exchanged hugs with several pals on Baxter Street shortly after 1 p.m.<\/p>\n

She then headed to the nearby \u201cOccupy City Hall\u201d encampment, where she disappeared inside a makeshift, black tent.<\/p>\n

Reyes was freed following her video arraignment on multiple counts of second-degree assault and related charges Friday morning.<\/p>\n

During the hearing, Manhattan Criminal Court Judge John Howard-Algarin her bail at $7,500 cash or credit card, $40,000 insurance company bond or $60,000 surety bond.<\/p>\n

The city Department of Correction didn\u2019t immedia<\/a>tely respond to an inquiry about how she secured her release.<\/p>\n

Reyes is accused of attacking NYPD Lt. Michael Butler and Sgt. Richard Adamiak \u2014 leaving them with blood streaming down their faces \u2014 as they arrested a fellow anti-cop activist on Wednesday.<\/p>\n

The incident came amid clashes that erupted when counter-demonstrators attempted to disrupt a \u201cunity\u201d march against the bridge that included a contingent from the Sergeants Benevolent Association.<\/p>\n

Defense lawyer Michael Horn described her in court as a \u201ckind and generous young lady\u201d and a Black Lives Matter activist\u201d who\u2019s \u201cenrolled full time at Queens College, working on a Bachelor of Science<\/a> degree.<\/p>\n

On Thursday, NYPD Chief of Department Terence Monahan \u2014 who was also injured on the bridge \u2014 described two other activists busted Wednesday as \u201cpart of this anarchist group that has been infiltrating this Black Lives movement since the beginning.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt is a legitimate movement, but it is being hijacked by these anarchists, and they are the ones that have been attacking our police officers [and] are out hiding behind the many, many peaceful protesters that are out there,\u201d Monahan told Fox 5\u2019s \u201cGood Day New York.\u201d<\/p>\n
