Bill Gates managed an app<\/a>earance last week at Allen & Co.\u2019s \u201csummer camp for billionaires\u201d in Sun Valley, Idaho \u2014 but he wasn\u2019t exactly a barrel of fun.\u00a0<\/p>\n

After flying into the tech-and-media<\/a> conference late, the scandal-plagued Microsoft co-founder attended an exclusive dinner hosted by former Allen & Co. President Herb Allen, breaking bread with heavy hitters including Jeff Bezos, Mark Zuckerberg and Sheryl Sandberg on Thursday night, sources said.<\/p>\n

Gates was also seen walking and talking with Zuckerberg on Thursday, Variety reported<\/a>. The next day, Gates gave a talk on climate change and even opened up about his divorce in a Q&A session, attendees said. <\/p>\n

Nevertheless, the legendary tech tycoon seemed \u201cagitated\u201d throughout his stay and brushed off other attendees who tried to come up and talk to him, one guest told The Post. <\/p>\n

During an \u201coff the record\u201d Q&A session after his climate talk, CNBC host Becky Quick asked Gates about his divorce from his wife Melinda and the future of the Gates Foundation.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cHe fessed up to messing up,\u201d one attendee said. \u201cHe basically referred to the fact that it [the divorce] was his fault.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cHe did seem a bit emotional about it,\u201d the attendee added. \u201cHe might have been on the verge of tears.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

However, Gates did not say the word \u201caffair,\u201d the attendee said.\u00a0Another attendee described Gates\u2019 answer about the end of his marriage as \u201cvery moving.\u201d<\/p>\n

Sources also said that Quick failed to bring up another elephant in the room \u2014 Gates\u2019 reported friendship with dead pedophile Jeffrey Epstein. \u00a0<\/p>\n

On Friday, Gates ate dinner next to the geneticist Cynthia Kenyon, who works as vice president of aging research at Alphabet\u2019s biotechnology<\/a> company Calico, a source said.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Gates was also caught by a paparazzo taking a walk with Evan Greenberg, president and CEO of insurance giant Chubb Limited.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Microsoft and the The Gates Foundation directed requests for comment to the billionaire\u2019s investment firm Gates Ventures, which declined to comment.\n <\/p><\/div>\n
