“#Jackass Star ‘MANGLED’ By Shark In Wakeboard Stunt Gone Wrong!

\nWow, this is one of the worst\u00a0Jackass<\/em> injuries ever, and it wasn\u2019t on\u00a0MTV<\/strong>, it wasn\u2019t in one of the movies<\/a>\u2026 it was on the freakin\u2019\u00a0Discovery<\/strong> channel!<\/p>\n

As part of this year\u2019s Shark Week celebration, the science<\/a>-devoted channel tried something a little different, letting the\u00a0Jackass<\/em> crew join them for a special, complete with idiotic and dangerous stunts.<\/p>\n

Specifically\u00a0Steve-O<\/strong> and\u00a0Chris Pontius<\/strong> sent newcomer Sean McInerney<\/strong>, perhaps better known by the nickname\u00a0Poopies<\/strong>, to literally \u201cjump the shark\u201d \u2014 and do a wakeboard ramp over shark-infested waters on Sunday\u2019s episode.<\/p>\n

After wiping out, the rookie stunt performer was immedia<\/a>tely pounced on by one of the apex predators \u2014 with several more on the way. It\u2019s about the worst thing that could have happ<\/a>ened. As Chris says so eloquently at one point during the aftermath:<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s either, like, everything\u2019s OK, or this happens.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Thankfully the Shark Week safety crew were on top of him immediately, surrounding and protecting him from the other sharks as the blood from his first bite threatened to fuel a feeding frenzy. Watch the harrowing, all-too-real TV moment (below):<\/p>\n
