The Issue: Hunter Biden\u2018s sale of his paintings to anonymous buyers for up to $500,000.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Hunter Biden is being investigated by the FBI for using his father\u2019s position as vice president (\u201cDo we have to draw pro-Joe media<\/a> a picture?\u201d Miranda Devine, July 12).<\/p>\n

So what is Hunter doing? He\u2019s working another scheme to cash in on daddy\u2019s influence.<\/p>\n

This time, he\u2019s become a world-famous painter, selling his talent to the tune of $500,000 per work of art. The buyers will be anonymous (how convenient) and so will the influence that they\u2019re obviously buying.<\/p>\n

If Hunter was scared of being indicted for his previous influence-peddling, does anyone think he\u2019d be running a similar scheme? Who says crime doesn\u2019t pay? <\/p>\n

Devine has some enlightening thoughts on Hunter\u2019s \u201cpay-for-paint.\u201d<\/p>\n

His art, which is fetching half a million without naming the buyer, is certainly not transparent.<\/p>\n

Of course, finding out who those wealthy purchasers are is an integral part of this. Are the anonymous buyers acquaintances from China, Russia or Mexico? <\/p>\n

Biden made sure that his entire family was taken care of through political deals and influences behind the scenes.<\/p>\n

His son Hunter has a newly discovered art talent. He has no formal art education, yet his art works are being auctioned off for as much as $500,000 to anonymous collectors.<\/p>\n

I\u2019m sure those collectors are Russians and Iranians who are just looking for political favors.<\/p>\n

The media gives Hunter a pass, just like they gave Frank Biden a pass when it was revealed he is a senior consultant for a law firm, yet has no law degree. Shameless.<\/p>\n

The Issue: A 6-year-old who was attacked and robbed of his scooter in Brooklyn last week.<\/strong><\/p>\n

When are Gov. Cuomo, Mayor de Blasio and the other dimwits going to understand a simple equation: No consequences for crime equals more crime (\u201cJack scooted thug,\u201d July 10).<\/p>\n

While they live in fancy digs with security details and beat their chests on their progressive records, 6-year-olds are robbed and 4-year-olds are shot in Times Square. They all need to be voted out of office. We were much safer under Republicans.<\/p>\n

How many more criminal acts perpetrated against children will it take for the misguided no-bail policy to be rescinded? It is undeniable that such a detrimental criminal-justice policy only engenders more depraved crimes.<\/p>\n

Cowardly, unscrupulous attacks against children only magnify the atrocious onslaught of barbaric, unimaginable crimes that have overwhelmed a city in steady, decline.<\/p>\n

Cuomo and de Blasio should be held accountable for their total ineptitude.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, the lowlife who stole the child\u2019s scooter, if app<\/a>rehended, will be scooting away to commit another heinous, violent crimes because of the existing, repulsive no-bail policy.<\/p>\n

New York City criminals have stooped to a new low. Stealing a scooter off a 6-year-old Brooklyn boy makes no sense.<\/p>\n
