A man poured his drink on an elderly man\u2019s head and pummeled him during a fight on a Bronx MTA bus, new surveillance video shows.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The 83-year-old victim was attempting to get off an MTA bus at Barnes Avenue and East Gun Hill Road in Williamsbridge around 5:30 p.m. May 31 when he got into a spat with a younger passenger, cops said.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Things heated up when the suspect poured his bottle filled with a yellow-colored beverage on the older man\u2019s head, as they both stood toward the front of the bus, video released by the NYPD Wednesday shows.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The octogenarian is shown repeatedly trying to push away and fend off his attacker.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Cops said the suspect then punched his victim in the face repeatedly, which is not shown in the footage.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The assailant then got off the bus and fled west on East Gun Hill Road.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The victim was taken to Jacobi Medical Center with multiple facial fractures.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The suspect is between 30 and 40 years old, around 5-foot-11 and 180 pounds, and was last seen wearing a denim jacket, blue jeans, a black hat and black sneakers, authorities said.<\/p>\n
