“#Alternate World Pharmacy Anime<\/a> Adaptation Announced<\/strong>”<\/p>\n

A new website and Twitter<\/a> account launched to announce that Liz Takayama\u2019s <\/span>Alternate World Pharmacy<\/span><\/i> (<\/span>Isekai Yakkyoku<\/span><\/i>) light novel series<\/a> is receiving an anime adaptation. A key visual was also revealed. Additionally, novel illustrator keepout and manga artist Sei Takano drew illustrations to celebrate the news<\/a>.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The <\/span>Alternate World Pharmacy<\/span><\/i> light novel launched on the Sh\u014dsetsuka ni Narou website. Kadokawa\u2019s MF Books imprint began serializing the novels with seven volumes published so far in print, and the eighth volume to release on July 21. A manga adaptation by Sei Takano began serialization in Kadokawa\u2019s Comic Flapp<\/a>er magazine, and currently has 2.3 million copies in circulation.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The story centers around a young pharmacologist who was so focused on his research that he died from overwork. He was transported to an alternate world and reincarnated as Pharma, the scion in a noble lineage of court healers. In this world where erroneous remedies and cures are rampant, he takes on all kinds of ailments to save lives, thanks to his inside knowledge of modern pharmacology from his past life.<\/span><\/i><\/span><\/p>\n\n
