\u201cThe Simpsons\u201d psychic powers is out of this world!<\/p>\n

The animated comedy series<\/a>, which has manifested an eerie ability to predict the future over its 32 seasons, is now being credited with foretelling Richard Branson\u2019s flight to space.<\/p>\n

Fans of the long-running Fox show noticed that a scene from a 2014 episode bore a startling resemblance to footage<\/a> released Sunday of the British billionaire floating inside his Virgin Galactic rocket.<\/p>\n

The scene from the Season 25 episode \u201cThe War of Art\u201d featured an animated Branson leaning back and admiring a painting while hovering aboard a spaceship.<\/p>\n

\u201cHow can The Simpsons show predict every Damn thing?,\u201d one person posted on Twitter<\/a>, along with the two images.<\/p>\n

\u201cSo the @TheSimpsons predicted yet another thing that came true. @richardbranson making his flight into space for the #Unity22 launch,\u201d another user wrote<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Branson\u2019s Virgin Atlantic agreed, tweeting <\/a>\u201cThe Simpsons predicted it\u2026\u201d and a clapp<\/a>ing hands emoji.<\/p>\n

However, as one user pointed out<\/a>, Branson founded Virgin Galactic in 2004 with the promise of sending tourists to space, \u201cSo the show wasn\u2019t exactly being Nostradamus here.\u201d<\/p>\n

While it may not be the show\u2019s most mind-blowing prediction, its cartoonists have been credited with foreseeing a slew major events, including Donald Trump\u2019s presidency and the coronavirus pandemic.\n <\/p><\/div>\n
