\n President Trump retweeted a video Friday of right-wing commentators Glenn Beck and Candace Owens attacking the reputation of George Floyd.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe fact that he has been held up as a martyr sickens me,\u201d Owens told Beck in the footage. \u201cGeorge Floyd was not a good person.\u201d<\/p>\n

As mass protests rocked the nation for yet another day, the Trump retweet amplified the message to a worldwide audience and his 81.8 million Twitter followers.<\/p>\n

Beck and Owens then delved into Floyd\u2019s lengthy criminal record, which included time behind bars. Floyd\u2019s autopsy report revealed he had both fentanyl and methamphetamine in his system at the time of his death.<\/p>\n

\u201cIs this really the guy that Black America \u2026 is this the symbol of Black America today?\u201d Beck wondered, though adding that Floyd\u2019s treatment by Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin had been wrong.<\/p>\n
