“#BLM shows its true colors in statement praising Cuba<\/strong>”<\/p>\n

Lest there be any doubt left that the Black Lives Matter crew has nothing to do with actual racial justice in America, look no further than their reaction to the mass protests in Cuba.<\/p>\n

The group on Wednesday put out a statement, not to condemn the authoritarian regime in Cuba for violently suppressing its people, but to berate the US for long-existing sanctions on the communist state.<\/p>\n

\u201cBlack Lives Matter condemns the U.S. federal government\u2019s inhumane treatment of Cubans, and urges it to immedia<\/a>tely lift the economic embargo,\u201d BLM said. \u201cThis cruel and inhumane policy, instituted with the explicit intention of destabilizing the country and undermining Cubans\u2019 right to choose their own government, is at the heart of Cuba\u2019s current crisis.\u201d<\/p>\n

The statement is, of course, exactly backward. The US sanctions Cuba precisely because its communist dictators prevent the Cuban people from \u201cthe right to choose their own government.\u201d<\/p>\n

Videos posted on social media show Cubans young and old calling for \u201cliberty,\u201d and chanting \u201cdown with the dictatorship\u201d and \u201cdown with communism.\u201d There\u2019s a reason that they\u2019re not crying out things more like, \u201cWe hate the America\u201d and \u201cU.S. sucks.\u201d You would have to attend a BLM rally for that.<\/p>\n

The protesters are angry about a lack of food and medicine, but those shortages aren\u2019t about US sanctions \u2014 which allow humanitarian relief \u2014 but the greed and corruption of Cuban government. Yet BLM and the Squad don\u2019t want to admit that Cuba has failed \u2014 because it shows that one party rule, suppression of dissent, and a Marxist economy always leads to ruin.<\/p>\n

It gets worse. Black Lives Matter then praised Cuba for hiding a cop killer.<\/p>\n

\u201cCuba has historically demonstrated solidarity with oppressed peoples of African descent,\u201d the group wrote \u2014 praising it for \u201cprotecting black revolutionaries\u201d like Assata Shakur, also known as Joanne Chesimard, the former Black Panther who fled prison in 1979 while serving life for the execution-style murder of New Jersey state trooper Werner Foerster.<\/p>\n

When will the corporations like Coca-Cola, Nike and Amazon that tweet \u201cblack lives matter\u201d realize that the organization isn\u2019t dedicated to fighting racial injustice? It\u2019s a Marxist group that believes the United States is so racist that all of our society can only be fixed by tearing it down. It\u2019s against our free market, our institutions, and our democracy. It believes those who disagree should be censored and re-educated. It thinks all cops are evil, while cop killers are heroes. <\/p>\n

BLM isn\u2019t about racism in America and it doesn\u2019t care about the Cuban government\u2019s oppression of its own people. BLM is about making us Cuba.<\/p>\n
