But he also levitates and wields a katana? And the movie is about the U.S. legal system and sticking it to big drug dealers? Maybe? That\u2019s what I got, at least, by watching <strong><em>Naked Singularity<\/em><\/strong><em>\u2019s <\/em>newly released trailer.<\/p>\n<p>This two-minute+ trailer has a lot going on in it. Drugs! Money! Boyega saying doing bad things is bad! Check it out below.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"The_Naked_Singularity_Trailer\"><\/span><strong>The Naked Singularity Trailer <\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><!-- SlashFilm_300x250_In_Post --><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Naked Singularity \u2013 Official Trailer\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/MpO6kqPuh9E?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>What the hell <em>was<\/em> that?! I\u2019m really not sure! The first part seems like a typical heist thriller: Boyega is a public defender who\u2019s getting slowly destroyed by his job. One day, he meets a young woman (<strong>Olivia Cooke<\/strong>) who convinces him to take part in this big scheme that will make them rich and screw over the justice system <em>and<\/em> the Mexican cartel. At least I think so? Fellow cast members <strong>Bill Skarsg\u00e5rd<\/strong> and <strong>Tim Blake Nelson<\/strong> also make an <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>earance.<\/p>\n<p>Then there are some wacky scenes. Boyega levitates a little in one sequence, just as the hands on his wristwatch circle round and round. Something weird is going on! To make things even more confusing, there\u2019s also a shot of Boyega\u2019s character wielding a katana.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-684662 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/d13ezvd6yrslxm.cloudfront.net\/wp\/wp-content\/images\/Naked-Singularity-Levitating-Feet-700x337.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"700\" height=\"337\" srcset=\"https:\/\/d13ezvd6yrslxm.cloudfront.net\/wp\/wp-content\/images\/Naked-Singularity-Levitating-Feet.png 700w, https:\/\/d13ezvd6yrslxm.cloudfront.net\/wp\/wp-content\/images\/Naked-Singularity-Levitating-Feet-360x173.png 360w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px\" \/><\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"The_Movies_Title_Doesnt_Help_Much_Either\"><\/span><strong>The Movie\u2019s Title Doesn\u2019t Help Much Either<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>So what the hell is <em>Naked Singularity<\/em>? The title, it seems, has to do with physics. According to <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Naked_singularity\">Wikipedia<\/a>, a naked singularity is \u201ca hypothetical gravitational singularity without an event horizon.\u201d Basically it\u2019d be a black hole that we could observe, since the event horizon would be there trapping everything inside it.<br \/>\n<!-- SlashFilm_300x250_In_Post_2 -->Also according to Wikipedia, the possible existence of one \u201cwould mean that it would be possible to observe the collapse of an object to infinite density. It would also cause foundational problems for <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/general\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"3\" title=\"General\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">general<\/a> relativity, because general relativity cannot make predictions about the evolution of space-time near a singularity.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>So what the hell does that have to do with this movie? I honestly don\u2019t know if it means anything at all. Those whacked-out clips in the trailer, however, make me think that the film \u2014 and I\u2019m guessing the book it\u2019s based on \u2014 is using this theoretical phenomenon as a metaphor. Or maybe the entire universe is literally collapsing in on itself and we\u2019re all going to die.
