Yesterday\u2019s upgrade will allow about 500 validators, stake pool operators, and developers to test these features going forward.<\/p>\n<p>Alonzo White is set to run for two to four weeks before upgrading to the final testnet for its current development phase, known as Alonzo Purple.<\/p>\n<p>Despite some recent <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/altcoin_bets\/status\/1411804393247227906?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1411804393247227906%7Ctwgr%5E%7Ctwcon%5Es1_&amp;ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fnews.bitcoin.com%2Fcharles-hoskinson-faces-twitter-backlash-as-his-cardano-predictions-fall-short-of-reality%2F\">backlash<\/a> from others in the blockchain community, Cardano founder Charles Hoskinson recently said in a <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=yd1eg4QopV8\">YouTube video<\/a> that everything is still on track according to the project&#8217;s development roadmap, noting that more than $10 million in NFTs have been sold throughout the Cardano network along with \u201ctens of thousands of assets\u201d.\u00a0Once Alonzo White is released to the mainnet, developers will be able to launch dApps, NFTs and more.<\/p>\n<p>On the heels of the Alonzo White announcement, an NFT and DeFi Marketplace called the Spores Network <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/finance.yahoo.com\/news\/cardano-based-spores-raises-2-130000025.html\" data-amp=\"https:\/\/finance-yahoo-com.cdn.ampproject.org\/c\/s\/finance.yahoo.com\/amphtml\/news\/cardano-based-spores-raises-2-130000025.html\">announced<\/a> a successful $2.3 million fundraise on July 16.
