Before David Harbour\u00a0<\/strong>gained international fame for playing Jim Hopper in Netflix<\/strong>\u2018s Stranger Things<\/em>, there was a co-star on set he had such a \u201cf**king\u201d problem with, he got them kicked off the show!\u00a0Five years later, he\u2019s finally spilling the beans on that hot gossip!<\/p>\n

App<\/a>earing in a recent episode of Hot Ones<\/em>, the 46-year-old recalled a certain furry friend that starred alongside the Byers family in the sci-fi series<\/a>\u2019 first season. Only diehard fans will remember this rising superstar since they haven\u2019t appeared on the show since!<\/p>\n

Yup \u2014 we\u2019re talking about the family dog Chester!! This cutie (below)!<\/p>\n

Turns out, while he may have helped Winona Ryder<\/strong>\u2018s character Joyce Byers solve some of the show\u2019s first mysteries, the real-life Chester was a handful on set \u2014 and he drove David crazy! The Black Widow<\/em> actor admitted to Sean Evans<\/strong>:<\/p>\n

\u201cI hated that f**king dog so bad.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Before you start thinking he\u2019s just not a dog lover, it sounds like the pup was a real diva on set!<\/p>\n

\u201cTake after take it would wander off or do something. And then I remember the trainer on the sidelines going, \u2018Come on! We got to make our money!\u2019\u2019<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Whatever pays the bills, right?! But all this disruption from the allegedly poorly trained dog actually made Harbour suggest a pretty big plot twist \u2014 kill the dog off<\/em>! He dished:<\/p>\n

\u201cYeah, I walked up to them, and I was like, \u2018You know, the Byers should probably have that dog put to sleep next season.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Laughing about how his plan worked \u2014 Chester wasn\u2019t officially put to sleep, but he never returned to the small screen after the first season \u2014 the Hellboy<\/em> lead noted:<\/p>\n

\u201cWe never talk about it the whole rest of the show. We should find it in the Upside Down in one of these future seasons.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Now that would be pretty funny! Exactly the justice Chester deserves. LOLz!!<\/p>\n

Season 4 is currently filming in Georgia, and it sounds like it will be a real treat to fans, with a HUGE plot twist five years in the making! Lily Allen<\/strong>\u2019s hubby recently gushed to Entertainment Tonight<\/em>:<\/p>\n

\u201cThere\u2019s one thing in it that plays very big in this season that I\u2019ve known since the first frame of the first season.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Wow! Since the first frame?! Our interest is piqued! Harbour further mused:<\/p>\n

\u201cMe and\u00a0[Matt<\/strong> and Ross Duffer<\/strong>] would sit around and speculate, \u2018Oh, wouldn\u2019t this be cool?\u2019 the minute we started shooting. We never thought we\u2019d even get a second season, and then we get to do it in this season. It\u2019s so satisfying to have had an idea five years prior, and to go like, \u2018Oh, this is a season when we\u2019re gonna let out this secret that we were using just as a subtle thing to inform something.\u2019 We\u2019re gonna lay it out finally, and it\u2019s really cool.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
