This means that Lightroom Presets work in ACR without you having to do any weird tweaks.<\/p>\n<p>In fact, <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.adobe.com\/ie\/products\/photoshop-lightroom-classic\/lightroom-cc-vs-lightroom-classic.html\">Lightroom Classic<\/a> and ACR even share the same presets folder. This means that adding presets to Lightroom Classic (but not Lightroom) will automatically add them to Photoshop on the same computer.<\/p>\n<p>However, if you don\u2019t use Lightroom Classic, you can still add presets to Photoshop. Here\u2019s how.<\/p>\n<h2 role=\"heading\" aria-level=\"2\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"How_to_Install_Presets_in_ACR\"><\/span>How to Install Presets in ACR<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Download<\/a> and (if necessary)\u00a0unzip the presets that you want to install. If Photoshop is open, quit it.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-735623\" src=\"https:\/\/www.howtogeek.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/2location.png?trim=1,1&amp;bg-color=000&amp;pad=1,1\" alt=\"preset added to Settings folder\" width=\"650\" height=\"407\" onload=\"pagespeed.lazyLoadImages.loadIfVisibleAndMaybeBeacon(this);\" onerror=\"this.onerror=null;pagespeed.lazyLoadImages.loadIfVisibleAndMaybeBeacon(this);\"\/><\/p>\n<p>On a Windows 10 PC, open File Explorer, paste the following address into the address bar, and hit Enter:<\/p>\n<pre><code>C:Users[USERNAME]AppDataRoamingAdobeCameraRawSettings<\/code><\/pre>\n<p>On a Mac, open Finder, click Go &gt; Go to Folder, paste the following address, and hit Return:<\/p>\n<pre><code>~\/Library\/Application Support\/Adobe\/CameraRaw\/Settings<\/code><\/pre>\n<p>Copy the preset files into this folder.<\/p>\n<p>Now, you can open Adobe Camera RAW, and the presets will be there ready for you to use.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"admonishment_note\"><p><strong>Note:<\/strong> You need the presets to be in the XMP format. If they\u2019re in the older LRTemplate format, you can <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/exchange.adobe.com\/creativecloud.details.104891.conv-free-lrtemplate-to-xmp-preset-converter.html\">use an app to convert them<\/a>. Alternatively, import them into Lightroom Classic, which will automatically handle the conversion process and add them to ACR.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<h2 role=\"heading\" aria-level=\"2\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"How_to_Use_Lightroom_Presets_in_Photoshop\"><\/span>How to Use Lightroom Presets in Photoshop<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>With the presets installed in the correct folder, it\u2019s time to use them. There are two ways to do it, depending on the images that you\u2019re editing.<\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"On_RAW_Images\"><\/span>On RAW Images<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-735624\" src=\"https:\/\/www.howtogeek.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/3presets.png?trim=1,1&amp;bg-color=000&amp;pad=1,1\" alt=\"\" width=\"650\" height=\"399\" onload=\"pagespeed.lazyLoadImages.loadIfVisibleAndMaybeBeacon(this);\" onerror=\"this.onerror=null;pagespeed.lazyLoadImages.loadIfVisibleAndMaybeBeacon(this);\"\/><\/p>\n<p>If you open a RAW image in Photoshop, Adobe Camera RAW will automatically open first.
