\n Ghislaine Maxwell believes her ex-lover Jeffrey Epstein was murdered behind bars and lives in fear of facing the same unfortunate end, according to a new report.<\/p>\n

\u201cEveryone\u2019s view including Ghislaine\u2019s is Epstein was murdered. She received death threats before she was arrested,\u201d an unnamed friend told The Sun.<\/p>\n

A federal judge denied Maxwell bail on Tuesday and ordered the 58-year-old to spend the next year awaiting trial at the Brooklyn Detention Center, where she has been held\u00a0since shortly after her July 2 arrest in New Hampshire.<\/p>\n

The friend, who the Sun described as \u201cin regular contact with Maxwell at her secret New Hampshire hideaway,\u201d said the death threats spurred the British social<\/a>ite to hire security guards, and led her to believe she may not live to see her trial.<\/p>\n

The daughter of disgraced British medial mogul Robert Maxwell cried in court as federal Judge Alison Nathan refused to let her out on bail.<\/p>\n

Maxwell faces charges that she conspired with Epstein to sexually abuse young women.<\/p>\n

Her ex-beau Epstein died in custody Aug. 10 \u2014 after prison guards reportedly failed to keep an eye on him despite a previous suicide attempt.<\/p>\n

New York City\u2019s chief medical examiner later ruled the death a suicide.<\/p>\n

Maxwell, like Epstein, is expected to expose celebrities and world leaders when she finally stands trial.\n <\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
