Phil Murphy said in a statement <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/GovMurphy\/status\/1417168791784542213\">announcing the <\/a>results.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEveryone ages 12 and up who is eligible should go and get vaccinated.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>A study released last week by Yale University and the New York City Health Department found similar results in the Big <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">App<\/a>le in terms of vaxx effectiveness.<\/p>\n<p>That analysis concluded COVID vaccinations prevented a staggering 8,300 deaths and 44,000 hospitalizations in the city during the first six months of 2021.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1024\" height=\"682\" alt=\"New Jersey Gov. Phil Murphy said that the results show there is only a \u201cpandemic among the unvaccinated.\u201d<\/figcaption><figcaption><span class=\"credit\">AP Photo\/Wayne Parry<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The Yale study claimed the city\u2019s vaccination campaign stopped a projected 250,000 new coronavirus infections \u2014 and that just 1.1 percent of all new cases in the five boroughs came from fully vaccinated New Yorkers.<\/p>\n<p>Still, many New Yorkers \u2014 even hospital workers \u2014 are still resisting getting jabbed.<\/p>\n<p>The Post reported Sunday that nearly one-third of city hospital workers have not been vaccinated, according to the state Health Department. In the city\u2019s 11 public hospitals, 40 percent of workers are unvaccinated.<\/p>\n<p>New York State Health Department officials also said they\u2019ve found a low percentage of COVID cases among vaccinated New Yorkers, a situation it is tracking closely.  <\/p>\n<p>\u201cTo date, the New York State Department of Health is aware of 8,718 breakthrough cases of COVID-19, 0.15% of fully vaccinated people.
