Yet, he also probably knows it\u2019s not going away anytime soon. It\u2019s what h<a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>ens when you hold the title for longest-tenured cast member in history. People are going to speculate about when you\u2019re leaving, even if you insist multiple times that it\u2019s not going to be anytime soon.<\/p>\n<p>So for now, all Kenan can do is try to reassure people that he\u2019s not leaving anytime soon \u2014 and this is precisely what he did in a new <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/ew.com\/tv\/kenan-thompson-snl-future-20-seasons\/\">Entertainment Weekly<\/a> interview. As a matter of fact, he indicated that he could be around for years on end still:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">\u201cI keep saying I\u2019m trying to get to 20 [seasons] \u2026 So if they don\u2019t throw me out of there before, I\u2019m trying to get to 20. And then, I don\u2019t know if it makes sense for me to leave even after that point. As long as the show keeps going and they want me to be there and I don\u2019t feel like I\u2019m in the way of somebody else\u2019s opportunity, should I just oblige? I don\u2019t really know what to do at this point, as far as leaving is concerned. Like, why should I ever have to leave?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Kenan is a little busier now than he\u2019s been in the past, as he\u2019s trying to balance doing the late-night show and his new sitcom\u00a0<em>Kenan\u00a0<\/em>\u2014 for now, though, he is making it work! We do think he\u2019s a great example of how sometimes, the grass on your own side of the fence is pretty darn great!\u00a0<em>SNL\u00a0<\/em>is a fantastic show to be a part of, as it allows you to be on the cusp of the latest headlines year after year. Also, it\u2019s just the thing that Kenan is best at \u2014 some other performers may come on here looking for other gigs down the road. He, however, is probably one of the best sketch performers of all time.
