Cole<\/span>\u00a0surprised many people when he announced he would be playing professional basketball in Rwanda, Africa, right in the middle of his album rollout for\u00a0<\/span>The Off-Season<\/span><\/em>. It was even more surreal to see him take the court and show the game<\/a> he worked on while crafting the album.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Towards the end of his run with the Rwanda Patriots BBC,\u00a0<\/span>J. Cole said he planned to get better<\/span>, and it looks like he\u2019s keeping his promise on that. Over the weekend, J. Cole linked up with\u00a0<\/span>Portland Trailblazers star forward Carmelo Anthony<\/span>\u00a0for a quick workout and pickup game in New York City\u2019s Life Time at Sky courts.<\/span><\/p>\n

In footage shared on social media, Cole and Melo get some work done on the same team. Although the video is focused primarily on Melo raining jump shots on his defender, fans get to see the Dreamville boss hit a three-pointer and dish out an assist.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
