But there\u2019s a catch\u2014trailers will now play automatically when you look at details for a show or movie.<\/p>\n<p>Android TV\u2019s new universal watchlist can keep track of the shows and <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/watch-movies-tv-seriess\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"8\" title=\"Watch Movies &amp; TV Series\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">movies<\/a> you want to watch across all streaming services. But you need to add content to your universal watchlist from your Discover tab, or from the Details screen that <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>ears when you search for a title through Assistant.<\/p>\n<p>To add a show or movie to your universal watchlist, simply long-press it on your Discover tab. You can also press the \u201cadd to watchlist\u201d button from a show or movie\u2019s Details screen. Unfortunately, you cannot add a show to your universal watchlist while in an app like Hulu or Netflix.<\/p>\n<figure style=\"width: 1920px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-92415 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.reviewgeek.com\/p\/uploads\/2021\/07\/1fd061f6.png\" alt=\"Android TV's new Improve Your Recommendations features.\" width=\"1920\" height=\"1080\" data-credittext=\"Google\" onload=\"pagespeed.lazyLoadImages.loadIfVisibleAndMaybeBeacon(this);\" onerror=\"this.onerror=null;pagespeed.lazyLoadImages.loadIfVisibleAndMaybeBeacon(this);\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-caption-text\">\u201cImprove Your Recommendations\u201d lets you fine-tune the content in your Discover tab. <span class=\"imagecredit\">Google<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>But what if your Discover tab sucks? Then you should start using the \u201cImprove Your Recommendations\u201d tool that\u2019s now available on Android TV. This tool, which debuted on the Chromecast in December 2020, allows you to shape your Discover recommendations by telling Android TV what you like and dislike.<\/p>\n<p>To use \u201cImprove Your Recommendations,\u201d go to Settings and open Device Preferences. Then click Home Screen and select Content Preferences. (Boy, it would be nice if Google didn\u2019t hide this feature in Settings.)<\/p>\n<p>And then there are the \u201cimmersive\u201d trailers that now autoplay whenever you access a title\u2019s Details through the Discover tab or Google Assistant. If you want to turn off these trailers, go to Settings, open your Device Preferences, go to Home Screen, and hit the toggle to disable video previews. (Keep in mind that this won\u2019t turn off autoplaying trailers in apps like Netflix, though you can <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.howtogeek.com\/642270\/how-to-disable-netflixs-auto-playing-previews\/\">disable Netflix previews<\/a> from the service\u2019s website.)<\/p>\n<p>Google says that this Android TV update is rolling out now.
