After the postponement due to the effects of COVID-19, the stage play adaptation<\/span><\/a> of Aneko Yusagi’s fantasy light novel series<\/a> The Rising of the Shield Hero<\/strong><\/em> finally opened in Tokyo on July 15. An opening performance clip to introduce its main cast members, including\u00a0Yuuya Uno<\/strong> (Naofumi Iwatani), Karin\u00a0Isobe<\/strong>\u00a0(Raphtalia), Yuuna Sekine<\/strong> (Filo), Yuuya Asato<\/strong> (Motoyasu Kitamura), Riki Tanimizu<\/strong> (Ren Amaki), and Taiga Fukazawa<\/strong> (Itsuki Kawasumi), is now streamed.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

The stage play directed by Ken Ougida<\/strong> (Kakuriyo: Bed and Breakfast for Spirits<\/em> stage plays) was originally planned to be performed in Osaka and Tokyo from March to April 2020.\u00a0However,\u00a0all of the shows were canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. And now it is newly set to be performed at Theater Sun Mall in Tokyo from July 15 to 25, 2021. Advance tickets have been already sold out, and only a few same-day tickets are available.<\/p>\n
