“#3 hurt in shootings during Milwaukee NBA finals celebrations<\/strong>”<\/p>\n

Three people were shot early Wednesday during a wild night of partying in Milwaukee, where thousands took to the streets to celebrate the Bucks\u2019 NBA championship win over the Phoenix Suns \u2014 the team\u2019s first since 1971.<\/p>\n

Both shootings were across the Milwaukee River from Fiserv Forum, where nearly 17,000 fans watched the 105-98 Game<\/a> 6 win \u2014 and about 65,000 more cheered at an outdoor watch party.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The shootings happ<\/a>ened around 12:40 a.m. at two locations near Water Street, one of the city\u2019s prime nightlife thoroughfares.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Local TV station WISN was reporting live<\/a> from the scene when multiple shots rang out \u2014 prompting dozens of people to run for cover.\u00a0<\/p>\n

In one shooting, in the 200 block of East Juneau Street, a 19-year-old woman and a 32-year-old man suffered non-life-threatening injuries.\u00a0<\/p>\n

One suspect is in custody, while others are still being sought, according to police.\u00a0<\/p>\n

In the other, on the 200 block of East Knapp Street, a 22-year-old man was hurt and is also expected to survive, authorities told the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n
