This time, the slate is focused on their virtual programming and features a hefty amount of premieres, shorts, and an exciting virtual reality line-up.<\/p>\n<p>Spooky season starts early this year with Florida\u2019s upcoming genre film festival, Popcorn Frights. The Seventh Annual <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.popcornfrights.com\/\">Popcorn Frights Film Festival<\/a> will be a hybrid experience with both in-theater and virtual film offerings from <strong>August<\/strong> <strong>12-19, 2021<\/strong>. The Southeast U.S.\u2019 largest genre film event will offer its virtual programming nationwide and run parallel to its in-theater program (August 12-15) and through the duration of the festival until August 19.<br \/>\n<!-- SlashFilm_300x250_In_Post -->The virtual portion will have seven feature film World Premieres including thrill rides like\u00a0<strong><em>The Accursed<\/em><\/strong>, a paranoid thriller entitled\u00a0<strong><em>Dashcam<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0(co-starring <strong>Larry Fessenden<\/strong>), a Euro-horror inspired film called\u00a0<em><strong>Dawn Breaks Behind the Eyes<\/strong><\/em>, the claustrophobic and suspenseful\u00a0<strong><em>It Came From<\/em> <em>Below<\/em><\/strong>, a horror mystery called\u00a0<strong><em>Night at the Eagle Inn<\/em><\/strong>, the devilish dark comedy<strong><em> Val<\/em><\/strong>, and moc-doc horror called\u00a0<strong><em>The Wild Man <\/em><\/strong>which was a home-grown Florida production.<\/p>\n<p>Documentary films are also a part of this frightful cinematic feast. Audiences will be treated to the World Premiere of <strong><em>The History of Metal and Horror<\/em><\/strong>,\u00a0a nostalgia <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/trip-and-travel\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"10\" title=\"Trip &amp; Travel\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">trip<\/a> of some of the most iconic horror films told through candid conversations with <strong>John Carpenter<\/strong>, <strong>Tom Savini<\/strong>, <strong>Kirk Hammett<\/strong>, and <strong>Rob Zombie<\/strong>, among many others.
