After the (perceived) streaming success of his recent zombie heist film <em>Army of the Dead<\/em>, Zack Snyder, his wife and producing partner <strong>Deborah Snyder<\/strong>, and fellow executive <strong>Wesley Coller<\/strong> have signed a first-look deal with Netflix for their production company,\u00a0The Stone Quarry Productions. That means it\u2019s very likely that you\u2019ll be seeing more Snyder content popping up on the streamer \u2013 and soon.<br \/><span id=\"more-686238\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p>According to <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodreporter.com\/movies\/movie-news\/zack-snyder-stone-quarry-productions-signs-first-look-film-deal-netflix-1234986047\/\">The Hollywood Reporter<\/a>, The Stone Quarry Productions has signed a two-year first-look deal with Netflix.\u00a0\u201cMy goal and hope are to bring as much quality content as I can and do it on a giant scale,\u201d Snyder told THR, hyping his plans for \u201cbig projects and big <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/watch-movies-tv-seriess\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"8\" title=\"Watch Movies &amp; TV Series\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">movies<\/a>.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>This move should not come as much of a surprise if you\u2019ve been paying attention to Snyder\u2019s career trajectory. After establishing himself as an exciting up-and-comer in the world of genre filmmaking and fostering a long and prosperous relationship with his home studio of Warner Bros., the director ended up clashing with WB over some of his work in the DC Extended Universe, including\u00a0<em>Justice League<\/em>, which he ultimately reworked into an HBO Max project called <em>Zack Snyder\u2019s<\/em> <em>Justice League<\/em>. But while that project seemed to set up a couple of potential sequels and\/or spin-offs, WB has been adamant that they\u2019re out of the Zack Snyder business and those sequels will not h<a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>en.<br \/>\n<!-- SlashFilm_300x250_In_Post -->Meanwhile, Snyder moved over to Netflix to make <em>Army of the Dead<\/em>, which, according to the streamer\u2019s opaque accounting, has evidently become one of the most popular original films in Netflix\u2019s history. A Snyder-produced prequel film and <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/anime-manga\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"6\" title=\"Anime || Manga\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">anime<\/a> spin-off are already in the works there, and earlier this month, Snyder also\u00a0signed a deal to make <em>Rebel Moon<\/em> for Netflix, an original <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/sciencee\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"5\" title=\"Science\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">science<\/a> fiction property that\u2019s a reworked version of a <em>Star Wars<\/em> pitch he once made. His first-look deal with WB ended in 2019, and Deborah says one of the key reasons they chose to go with Netflix is because they had formed \u201ca partnership that was based on mutual respect\u201d there.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Future_Projects\"><\/span>Future Projects<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>\u201cNetflix has given us a lot of freedom,\u201d Deborah said. \u201cBut they\u2019ve also embraced the idea of trying new things and not necessary waiting for a success before moving ahead.\u201d One of the things that\u2019s already in development is an <em>Army of the Dead<\/em> sequel that Snyder would presumably direct; he\u2019s co-writing the script with <strong>Shay Hatten<\/strong>, who co-wrote the original. Plus, <em>Rebel Moon<\/em> \u201cis also envisioned as something that can launch sequels and series,\u201d THR says; Zack previously referred to it as \u201ca massive IP and a universe that can be built out.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Plus, Snyder is developing a project that will serve as the feature directorial debut for <strong>Damon Caro<\/strong>, who has served as a second unit director and stunt coordinator on several Zack Snyder movies.
