Star Trek: Lower Decks<\/i> is headed to Paramount+ with its second season soon, and the streaming service has now released a teaser for the new season. Tawny News<\/a>ome, Jack Quaid, No\u00ebl Wells, Eugene Cordero, Dawnn Lewis, Jerry O\u2019Connell, Fred Tatasciore, and Gillian Vigman are the voices behind the characters of the series<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Paramount+ revealed more about season two of the animated series in a press release.<\/p>\n

\u201cParamount+, the streaming service from ViacomCBS, today released the official trailer for season two of its hit original half-hour animated comedy series, STAR TREK: LOWER DECKS<\/i>. The official trailer was revealed during the series\u2019 Comic-Con@Home virtual panel.<\/p>\n

The STAR TREK: LOWER DECKS<\/i> season two virtual panel was part of the overall Star Trek<\/i> Universe panel, which kicked off Paramount+\u2019s Comic-Con@Home \u201cPeak\u201d Animation programming block, showcasing the service\u2019s upcoming animated series. The \u201cStar Trek\u201d Universe panel also included STAR TREK: PRODIGY.<\/i><\/p>\n

Moderated by Jerry O\u2019Connell (\u201cCommander Jack Ransom\u201d), the STAR TREK: LOWER DECKS<\/i> panel featured a conversation with voice cast members Tawny Newsome (\u201cEnsign Mariner\u201d), Jack Quaid (\u201cEnsign Boimler\u201d) and Eugene Cordero (\u201cEnsign Rutherford\u201d), as well as series creator, showrunner and executive producer, Mike McMahan, and a special greeting from No\u00ebl Wells (\u201cEnsign Tendi\u201d).<\/p>\n

Developed by Emmy Award winner Mike McMahan (Rick and Morty, Solar Opposites<\/i>), season two of STAR TREK: LOWER DECKS<\/i> is bigger, funnier and Star Trekkier than ever before. Fans can expect strange new (and familiar) aliens to challenge the crews of the U.S.S. Cerritos and the U.S.S. Titan. For Mariner, Tendi, Rutherford and Boimler, the animated adventure is just beginning.<\/p>\n

In addition to the Lower Deckers, the Starfleet characters that comprise the U.S.S. Cerritos\u2019 bridge crew include Captain Carol Freeman, voiced by Dawnn Lewis, Commander Jack Ransom, voiced by Jerry O\u2019Connell, and Doctor T\u2019Ana, voiced by Gillian Vigman.<\/p>\n

The series is produced by CBS\u2019 Eye Animation Productions, CBS Studios\u2019 new animation arm; Secret Hideout; and Roddenberry Entertainment. Secret Hideout\u2019s Alex Kurtzman and Heather Kadin, Roddenberry Entertainment\u2019s Rod Roddenberry and Trevor Roth and Katie Krentz (219 Productions) serve as executive producers alongside creator and showrunner Mike McMahan. Aaron Baiers (Secret Hideout), who brought McMahan to the project, also serves as an executive producer. Titmouse (\u201cBig Mouth\u201d), the Emmy Award-winning independent animation production company, serves as the animation studio for the series.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
