Screenshots and images download<\/a>ed from the web are usually saved as JPG or PNG files. Sometimes, you might need to convert these files to PDF format. Here\u2019s how to do that in Windows 10 with the built-in Photos app.<\/p>\n

The default photo-viewer app in Windows 10 is Photos. When you double-click an image, it should open in the Photos app. If you haven\u2019t changed the default app to view photos, locate and double-click the JPG file that you want to convert to a PDF to open it in Photos.<\/p>\n

If you did<\/em> change the default app to view photos, you\u2019ll need to open the Photos app the old-fashioned way. Type \u201cPhotos\u201d in the Windows Search bar and click the \u201cPhotos\u201d app in the search results.<\/p>\n

Note:<\/strong> If you want to convert multiple JPG files to PDF format at the same time, you must<\/em> open the Photos app and select them from within the app itself.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The Photos app will open. From here, locate the file that you want to convert from the image collection. Click it to select it.<\/p>\n

Now, whether you\u2019ve selected one or several photos, click the printer icon to the right of the Photos app\u2019s menu bar. Alternatively, use the Ctrl+P keyboard shortcut.<\/p>\n

Next, in the bottom-left corner of the window, click \u201cPrint.\u201d No, you won\u2019t be printing the photo, but this step is necessary to save the file as a PDF.<\/p>\n

Once it\u2019s selected, File Explorer will open. You\u2019ll notice that the PDF Document is the file type in the \u201cSave as Type\u201d box. Choose the location that you\u2019d like to save the file to, give it a name, and then click \u201cSave.\u201d<\/p>\n

Your JPG file is now converted to PDF.<\/p>\n
