Clay Higgins has contracted COVID-19 for the second time since January 2020, he announced Sunday night.<\/p>\n<p>Higgins revealed <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/CongressmanClayHiggins\/posts\/1501512573530931\">in a post on Facebook<\/a> that in addition to his own diagnosis, his son and wife are battling the illness as well.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBecca and I had COVID before, early on, in January 2020, before the world really knew what it was,\u201d the Republican lawmaker wrote.<\/p>\n<p>Referring to coronavirus as a \u201cCCP biological attack weaponized virus,\u201d Higgins said the family\u2019s second bout has been \u201cfar more challenging.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt has required all of my devoted energy.
