“#Texans now considering Deshaun Watson trade offers<\/strong>”<\/p>\n

The Texans are whistling a different tune. <\/p>\n

Houston finally is willing to take calls from interested teams on disgruntled quarterback Deshaun Watson, who requested a trade\u00a0from the Texans in January, NFL reporter Tom Pelissero<\/a> said Monday.<\/p>\n

The two sides met Sunday when Watson, who currently is facing 22 civil lawsuits alleging sexual misconduct, reported to training camp for the sole purpose of avoiding a daily $50,000 fine. <\/p>\n

\u201cWatson was respectful, but his demeanor reiterated he doesn\u2019t want to be in Houston,\u201d Pelissero reported.<\/p>\n

NFL Network\u2019s Ian Rapoport<\/a> reported the Texans are looking for \u201cthree first-round picks and more\u201d in exchange for the 25-year-old, three-time Pro Bowler, who would also have to waive his no-trade clause. <\/p>\n

Watson requested a trade less than a year after Houston handed him a four-year, $156 million extension.<\/p>\n

He is reportedly frustrated with the team\u2019s direction.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s unclear which teams have reached out with interest in Watson, the 12th-overall pick by Houston in the 2017 NFL Draft. <\/p>\n

Any teams interested in Watson would have to monitor his legal situation. <\/p>\n

Since the spring, Watson has been accused of sexual misconduct by over twenty women, mostly massage therapists. <\/p>\n

He has denied the allegations. <\/p>\n

The civil cases won\u2019t go to trial this year, according to Pelissero. <\/p>\n

The NFL is investigating the allegations, although the league has not placed Watson on the exempt list as a potential suspension looms.<\/p><\/div>\n
