“#Which Canceled Show Would You Like to See Saved? (POLL)<\/strong>”<\/p>\n

It\u2019s never easy saying goodbye to a favorite TV show, especially when it isn\u2019t planned. Such is the case for many canceled shows over the past season.<\/p>\n

Many favorites got the ax earlier than viewers would have hoped, whether it was long-running titles like NCIS: New Orleans<\/em> and MacGyver<\/em> or newer fare like Zoey\u2019s Extraordinary Playlist<\/em> and Prodigal Son<\/em>. While some shows can be saved from the brink of extinction \u2014 most recently with PBS Masterpiece\u2019s Sanditon<\/em> which had been canceled overseas on ITV before Season 1 even hit TV stateside \u2014 not all titles are so lucky.<\/p>\n

This past season, several favorites including the aforementioned NCIS: NOLA<\/em>, MacGyver<\/em>, Zoey\u2019s Extraordinary Playlist<\/em>, and Prodigal Son<\/em> as well as Good Girls<\/em>, Lovecraft Country<\/em>, Manifest<\/em>, Rebel<\/em>, and For Life<\/em> are among the most-talked-about by fans.<\/p>\n

Some showrunners even shared their plans for what would have come next following their shortened runs. NCIS: NOLA<\/em> would have ended its most recent season with a cliffhanger, one of the show\u2019s executive producers revealed to TV Insider. Meanwhile, Lovecraft Country<\/em>\u2018s showrunner Misha Green shared a mini-outline on her Twitter profile<\/a> for what would have come up in Season 2 before the Emmy-nominated show\u2019s cancellation.<\/p>\n

And short-lived series<\/a> such as For Life<\/em> and Rebel<\/em> are exploring new life at IMDb TV as Manifest<\/em>\u2018s move to Netflix remains possible. Needless to say, there are some strong feelings about what should come back and whether or not they even have a shot.<\/p>\n
