Batman has a cool, new look \u2014 and ride.<\/p>\n

Set photos from the production of \u201cThe Flash\u201d reveal the first look at Ben Affleck\u2019s Batman \u2014 or his stunt double \u2014 which features a new and upgraded Batsuit, along with a ginormous Batcycle.<\/p>\n

The film, which began production<\/a> in\u00a0England\u00a0this spring and was shooting<\/a> in Glasgow on Monday, stars Ezra Miller, 28, in the lead role. Affleck, 48, will play one version of Batman, while Michael Keaton, 69, will return to the role of the caped crusader he played in the 1989 Tim Burton film.<\/p>\n

Affleck last suited up as Bruce Wayne in 2020\u2019s \u201cZack Snyder\u2019s Justice League.\u201d<\/p>\n

On Monday, a number of streets in the Scottish city were closed as an app<\/a>arent Batman body double \u2014 Affleck himself was busy yachting<\/a> with rekindled flame Jennifer Lopez, 52, over the weekend \u2014 drove the Batcycle. Members of the production crew were seen pushing the giant bike along the street.<\/p>\n

Keaton was previously spotted filming in London but has yet to be seen in his Batman costume. Affleck also has not been seen on set.<\/p>\n

\u201c[Affleck\u2019s] Batman has a dichotomy that is very strong, which is his masculinity\u2013because of the way he looks, and the imposing figure that he has, and his jawline \u2014 but he\u2019s also very vulnerable,\u201d director Andy Muschietti told Vanity Fair<\/a> last year. \u201cHe knows how to deliver from the inside out, that vulnerability. He just needs a story that allows him to bring that contrast, that balance.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Flash\u201d will introduce general<\/a> audiences to the multiverse, or a shifting number of alternate universes that coexist in DC comics. In the film, The Flash travel<\/a>s back in time to prevent his mother\u2019s murder, which leads to a string of unintentional consequences, such as meeting Batman in a parallel dimension.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Flash\u201d was originally scheduled for release in 2018, but a troubled development process led to its delay by a few years. John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein left the project <\/a>in July 2019, and in November 2019 it was confirmed that Andy Muschietti\u00a0would become the new director. The premiere was rescheduled even further back from July 1 to Nov. 4, 2022, due to the COVID-19 pandemic.<\/p>\n

In June, Muschietti teased<\/a> another Batman outfit, this time of Keaton\u2019s Batman costume insignia with drops of blood on it.<\/p>\n

Affleck and Keaton will be joined by\u00a0Sasha Calle as Supergirl<\/a> and Kiersey Clemons as Iris West<\/a>.<\/p>\n
