A 35-year-old man was struck by a stray bullet while sleeping in a New Jersey apartment early Monday morning, a report said.<\/p>\n

The shooting that wounded the man erupted outside the building at about 12:15 a.m. on East 23rd Street and Park Avenue in Paterson, police told WABC<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The apartment building and three cars were also hit by bullets, the report said.<\/p>\n

The man was hospitalized with non-life threatening injuries.<\/p>\n

A mother who lives on the street told the news<\/a> station she\u2019s ready to leave the neighborhood following the latest round of gun violence.<\/p>\n

\u201cI just want to move out, because I have four kids here and I just get nervous with my kids,\u201d she said. \u201cThis is not the first time.\u201d<\/p>\n

No arrests were immedia<\/a>tely made in the shooting, according to the report.\n <\/p><\/div>\n
