The Issue: The DOJ\u2019s decision not to pursue a civil-rights probe into Gov. Cuomo\u2019s nursing-home order.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The decision to drop a probe into the nursing-home deaths that occurred under Gov. Cuo\u00admo\u2019s direction is another example of the two-tiered judicial system in this country that is tearing our society apart (\u201cFeds drop Cuomo probe,\u201d July 24).<\/p>\n

It is painfully app<\/a>arent that Democrats consistently get a pass when their policies fail because of incompetence, but Republicans become the targets of judicial scrutiny for made-up political crimes.<\/p>\n

In this case, the most vulnerable Americans were failed. Citizens who had no control over their own liberty or housing choice were herded into facilities where they were exposed to COVID under the direction of an incompetent governor who had little regard for their welfare, only to die a lonely and painful death.<\/p>\n

Our judicial system must be fixed fast, and those who govern us in both parties must be held accountable for their actions when incompetence or malfeasance are involved.<\/p>\n

If we ever doubted the Department of Justice\u2019s left-wing bias, this surely proves it.<\/p>\n

Cuomo and all who support him in the state Legislature must be voted out. I\u2019m outraged.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s disgusting and appalling that the feds are dropping the probe into Cuomo\u2019s order that nursing homes must admit those who have COVID.<\/p>\n

This is a big slap in the face to all the people who lost their loved ones in those nursing homes. A senior aide to Cuomo was told not to reveal the correct number of dead. That sounds like a lie, another Democratic trait.<\/p>\n

Cuomo is still facing a probe that involves the cover-up of the number of deaths; however, I wouldn\u2019t hold my breath. He will skate on that, too. And let\u2019s not forget the sexual-harassment allegations against him.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s time for this governor to step down. He wants to run for a fourth term. Wake up, New Yorkers. <\/p>\n

This is outrageous. How can the DOJ not probe into the civil-rights violations of those in nursing homes in New York and other states?<\/p>\n

It\u2019s political, to say the least. Cuomo needs to be taken down, as do other governors who made mistakes that killed the elderly.<\/p>\n

Cuomo made mistakes, and worse, he is arrogant about not only this but his sexual-harassment issues. <\/p>\n

The Democrats are in charge, and they do not eat their own. The maxim \u201cLet your conscience<\/a> be your guide\u201d does not apply to them. It\u2019s a disgrace.<\/p>\n

Aren\u2019t the laws of the land supposed to be enforced no matter who is in power? They pick and choose which laws they might enforce and which they ignore or pretend to enforce. <\/p>\n

President Biden, by refusing to instruct his DOJ to investigate whether the civil rights of 15,000 nursing-home residents were violated, has essentially ruled that nursing-home residents do not have the right to live.<\/p>\n
