\nIce Cube<\/span>\u00a0is one of Hip Hop\u2019s most gifted lyricists that also found success in the film industry. In 2017, Ice Cube dove into a new endeavor with the\u00a0<\/span>BIG3<\/span>, a three-on-three basketball league featuring former professional players. Since its inception, the league continues to grow steadily, with more fans tuning in.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

During a recent interview with\u00a0<\/span>Bossip<\/span><\/em><\/a>, Ice Cube spoke about his creation and where it ranks amongst his long list of career accomplishments. According to Cube, BIG3 was the most challenging to get off the ground.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThis the biggest thing ever and the hardest,\u201d he said. \u201cDoing music, I grew up with\u00a0<\/span>Dr. Dre<\/span>\u00a0living down the street from me, so, you know. Not saying that was easy, but I was in a position to really be right there. In movies<\/a>, John Singleton saw me one day and said, \u2018Hey, I wanna put you in a movie.\u2019 So, that career took off, you know, with being discovered like that.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Cube added, \u201cThis is something we had to conceive from scratch with all kind of people telling us that we was crazy, what are y\u2019all doing, you rap what are you doin\u2019 in sports, you do movies and now you doin\u2019 basketball. So, we had to push this rock uphill. This has been the hardest thing I\u2019ve ever done in my life.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
