{"id":309697,"date":"2021-07-28T00:31:23","date_gmt":"2021-07-27T21:31:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/en.buradabiliyorum.com\/less-than-half-of-staff-vaccinated-at-key-nyc-public-agencies-data\/"},"modified":"2021-07-28T00:31:23","modified_gmt":"2021-07-27T21:31:23","slug":"less-than-half-of-staff-vaccinated-at-key-nyc-public-agencies-data","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/less-than-half-of-staff-vaccinated-at-key-nyc-public-agencies-data\/","title":{"rendered":"#Less than half of staff vaccinated at key NYC public agencies: data"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&#8220;<strong>#Less than half of staff vaccinated at key NYC public agencies: data<\/strong>&#8221;<\/p>\n<div>\n<p>Fewer than half of all employees at key city public safety agencies and other departments that interact regularly with the public have gotten at least one shot of a coronavirus vaccination \u2014 a pace that lags far behind the Big <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">App<\/a>le\u2019s overall average, figures obtained by The Post show. <\/p>\n<p>The Corrections, Police, Sanitation, Parks and Homeless Services departments as well as the Housing Authority all have vaccination rates below 50 percent, the data shows. <\/p>\n<p>The Fire Department has barely passed the halfway point with only 54 percent of its staff vaccinated. <\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, just 59 percent of the public school system\u2019s staff have been vaccinated so far \u2014 a tally that includes principals, teachers and support staff like janitors and secretaries. <\/p>\n<p>Overall, 70.7 percent of adult New Yorkers in the five boroughs have gotten at least one shot \u2014 a rate matched or exceeded by just nine of the 36 municipal agencies that City Hall has collected stats on.<\/p>\n<p>The City Planning Department is the most vaccinated in the city with 84 percent of its staff having received at least one shot.<\/p>\n<p>The vaccination data was dated July 22, which is the day that Mayor Bill de Blasio first imposed the vaccination or weekly test mandate on employees of the Big Apple\u2019s public hospital system and the Health Department\u2019s community health clinics. <\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1024\" height=\"682\" alt=\"A health care worker fills a syringe with the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine, Thursday, July 22, 2021, at the American Museum of Natural History in New York.
