Source: <\/em><a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/defillama.com\/home\"><em>DeFi Llama<\/em><\/a><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>While this metric is still down roughly 30% from its all-time high of $154.91 billion, the metric did increase from $3 billion in July 2020 to $111.04 billion by July 2021. <\/p>\n<p>Out of the top 20 DeFi platforms, the largest percentage growth in TVL over the past seven days was a 68% increase on the Flexa (AMP) protocol and a 38% increase on Lido (LDO). <\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"DeFi_tokens_rally_as_user_activity_surges\"><\/span>DeFi tokens rally as user activity surges<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Further evidence of the ongoing rebound in the DeFi sector can be found in the rising token values of some of the up-and-coming protocols. <\/p>\n<figure><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/s3.cointelegraph.com\/uploads\/2021-07\/2838ea98-4c6d-43d5-a8eb-c2f0bfa46e3a.png\" alt=\"\" title=\"\"><figcaption style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>XVS, LUNA, RSR, AMP and KAVA (USDT pairs). 4-hour chart. Source: <\/em><a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.tradingview.com\/\"><em>TradingView<\/em><\/a><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Out of the top 20 DeFi protocols according, LUNA and AMP were the two biggest price gainers over the past seven days with increases of 83% and 64% respectively. <\/p>\n<p>While the daily trading volume seen across decentralized exchanges has remained relatively flat below the $2 billion level for the past month, the price of Uniswap rose by 17.8% and SushiSwap rose by 21.5% between July 21 and July 27 and user activity <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>ears to be on the uptrend.\u00a0<\/p>\n<figure><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/s3.cointelegraph.com\/uploads\/2021-07\/8a134bbc-0e7a-4683-9c99-018721aba737.png\"><figcaption style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>Daily DEX volume.
