The story of cute girls making cute games at\u00a0Eagle Jump will be coming to end on August 27<\/strong>\u00a0when the final chapter of\u00a0Shotaro Tokuno’s\u00a0<\/span>NEW GAME!<\/i><\/b><\/span><\/a>\u00a0<\/i><\/b>manga publishes its final chapter in the monthly\u00a0Manga Time Kirara Carat<\/i> magazine.<\/p>\n

This news<\/a> has been a long time coming, with it being reported<\/span><\/a> in March that volume 13 would be the final volume of NEW GAME!<\/i><\/b><\/span><\/a>, but today in the August\u00a0issue of\u00a0Manga Time Kirara Carat <\/em>(which was released to stores today)\u00a0we finally got the announcement<\/span><\/a> of when the final chapter would be published, the final volume will be released, and a brand new art book will be released on the same day.<\/p>\n

The final chapter of NEW GAME!<\/i><\/b><\/span><\/a>\u00a0will be in the September issue of\u00a0Manga Time Kirara Carat <\/em>(releasing on August 27), the 13th, and the final, volume of NEW GAME!<\/em><\/strong> will be released in stores in Japan on\u00a0September 27th alongside an art book based on the series<\/a>. NEW GAME!<\/em><\/strong> launched in Manga Time Kirara Carat<\/em> back in the March\u00a02013 issue, and went on to inspire a two-season\u00a0anime adaptation that kicked off in 2016. You can watch both seasons<\/span><\/a>\u00a0with the\u00a0English dub on Crunchyroll, which describes it as such:<\/p>\n

After graduating high school, Suzukaze Aoba joins Eagle Jump, the game company that developed Fairies Story, the game she obsessed over as a kid. On her first day as a working member of society, Aoba heads to work swaying in a packed, morning rush hour train. She manages to get to the office building all right but hesitates, wondering if it was really okay for her to take that last step and go inside. That’s when a senior member of staff, Toyama Rin, shows up at work and safely leads Aoba inside the offices of Eagle Jump.<\/em><\/p>\n
