It\u2019s a spiritual successor to Google Reader, allowing you to follow sites\u2019 RSS feeds and curate the content that arrives on your Chrome homepage. Now, Web Feed is finally available in a stable Chrome for Android release, though you must enable the feature manually.<\/p>\n<p>As reported by <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.androidpolice.com\/2021\/07\/29\/chrome-for-android-channels-the-spirit-of-google-reader-try-it-now\/\"><em>Android Police<\/em><\/a>, anyone with the latest version of Chrome for Android (version 92) can enable Web Feed through the flags menu. The <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.howtogeek.com\/735984\/how-to-follow-a-websites-rss-feed-in-google-chrome-for-android\/\">process<\/a> is quite simple\u2014just copy-paste <em>chrome:\/\/flags\/#web-feed<\/em> into your address bar, select Web Feed, and pick the \u201cEnable\u201d option. Chrome will then reboot to activate the Web Feed feature.<\/p>\n<p>Congrats, you can now follow your favorite sites\u2019 RSS feeds. Visit a <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/news\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"2\" title=\"News\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">news<\/a> site or blog and press the menu icon (three dots) in the top right corner of your Chrome <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>. Then, press the \u201cFollow\u201d button at the bottom of the drop down menu.<\/p>\n<p>Followed websites will show up in the \u201cFollowing\u201d tab of your Chrome homepage, right next to the \u201cFor You\u201d tab. If you hate the algorithm, then you\u2019ll love curating a Web Feed! The whole experience feels a bit nostalgic.<\/p>\n<p>There\u2019s just a few things to keep in mind here. Like most features that hide behind Chrome flags, Web Feed is a bit unpolished and may not work perfectly. Plus, the \u201cFollowing\u201d feed doesn\u2019t have a manual refresh button yet, so you won\u2019t get instant updates from your favorite sites. Future versions of Chrome will probably iron out these kinks, and Web Feed will eventually (hopefully, maybe) exit flags and become a standard feature for all users.<\/p>\n<p>Now Google just needs to add Web Feed to the desktop browser! If you\u2019re having trouble activating Web Feed, jump into the Play Store and update to <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/play.google.com\/store\/apps\/details?id=com.android.chrome&amp;hl=en_US&amp;gl=US\">Chrome version 92<\/a>.
