A 10-year-old Idaho girl was killed when a rock crashed through the windshield of her father\u2019s truck and hit in her in the head, according to local reports.<\/p>\n

Young Kambrie Horsley was riding in dad Brad Horsley\u2019s vehicle in Malad on Monday when a semi driving on the same road dislodged a 4-inch rock from the roadway, flinging it their way, The Idaho State Journal reported<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The girl died after her father rushed her to the hospital for treatment, the report said.<\/p>\n

\u201cWords cannot describe the shock and sadness that we all feel,\u201d Kambrie\u2019s family wrote in her heartbreaking obituary<\/a>. \u201cWe will miss her terribly, but we find peace knowing she is with her Father in Heaven and those family members beyond the veil.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cHer happ<\/a>y countenance shown about her always and she gave everyone the best hugs!\u201d the obituary went on. \u201cKambrie sped through her short life with such drive and intensity modeling love and inclusion in all she did.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cKam Kam\u201d had five siblings and was remembered as \u201cfull of life and love and always up for an adventure.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cShe was her daddy\u2019s girl and loved to ride anywhere with him and the boys especially up to the land riding horses,\u201d the obituary stated.<\/p>\n

\u201cShe was her momma\u2019s big helper in the kitchen and with the little girls. She brought such joy to us all and there is a hole in our family until we get her back. She was simply the perfect little girl.\u201d<\/p>\n

The driver of the semi was reportedly not aware of the tragic accident until he was tracked down by Oneida County\u2019s sheriff\u2019s deputies.<\/p>\n

There was no wrongdoing involved, the sheriff\u2019s office told the Journal.<\/p>\n

Kambrie\u2019s funeral is set for Saturday.\n <\/p><\/div>\n
