Credit: AP Photo\/Ng Han Guan<br \/>\n            <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>Didi Global Inc. on Friday denied a report by The Wall Street Journal that the ride-hailing service was considering buying back its U.S.-traded shares after its June market debut was disrupted by Chinese government orders to overhaul data security.<\/p>\n<p>                                                                                The Journal, citing unidentified sources, said buying back the shares was one option being considered by Didi and its bankers to resolve investor complaints. Didi&#8217;s share price has fallen about 25% since its June 30 debut after the company was blocked from adding new customers while it overhauled how it handled their data and regulators announced a review of company-wide network security.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The company affirms that the above information is not true,&#8221; Didi said on its website. &#8220;The company is fully cooperating with the relevant government authorities in China in the cybersecurity review of the company.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The three-sentence statement gave no information about the security review, when normal operation might resume or possible options being considered in response to investors&#8217; complaints.<\/p>\n<p>Didi, headquartered in Beijing, raised about $4.4 billion in its stock offering.<\/p>\n<p>It is one of a <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/watch-movies-tv-seriess\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"8\" title=\"Watch Movies &amp; TV Series\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">series<\/a> of Chinese companies hit by stepped-up enforcement of anti-monopoly, data security and other regulations.<\/p>\n<p>Share prices of <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/game\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"7\" title=\"Game\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">game<\/a>s and <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/social-mediaa\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"1\" title=\"Social Media\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">social media<\/a> operator Tencent Holding Ltd. and e-commerce platforms Alibaba Group and JD.com Inc. in New York and Hong Kong also have fallen.<\/p>\n<div class=\"article-gallery lightGallery\">\n<div data-thumb=\"https:\/\/scx1.b-cdn.net\/csz\/news\/tmb\/2021\/chinas-didi-denies-rep-1.jpg\" data-src=\"https:\/\/scx2.b-cdn.net\/gfx\/news\/hires\/2021\/chinas-didi-denies-rep-1.jpg\" data-sub-html=\"Workers pass by the Didi headquarters in Beijing Friday, July 16, 2021. It said the company was to &#8220;rectify problems&#8221; but gave no details. Didi was later ordered to remove 25 of its <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>s from online stores.<\/p>\n<p>Chinese authorities said this month they will step up supervision of companies with shares traded on foreign stock exchanges.
