Well, you can finally stop! You can save the image from the email message or photo preview, as you\u2019ll find out below.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"admonishment_note\"><p><strong>Note:<\/strong> As of this writing in July 2021, the feature <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/workspaceupdates.googleblog.com\/2021\/05\/save-photos-from-gmail-messages.html\">only works with JPEG images<\/a>. It\u2019s also being rolled out slowly, so you might not have it yet.
