“#Daft Punk\u2019s Thomas Bangalter to Score New Ballet Mythologies<\/strong>”<\/p>\n

Thomas Bangalter\u2019s first post-Daft Punk project is a new ballet titled Mythologies<\/em>. A co-production between Op\u00e9ra National de Bordeaux and the ballet company Ballet Preljocaj, the 90-minute production is about the \u201cfounding myths that shape the collective imagination,\u201d reads a translation of the official French description<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Choreographer and Ballet Preljocaj founder Angelin Preljocaj is set to direct Mythologies<\/em>, which will run July 1-10, 2022 at the Grand Th\u00e9\u00e2tre de Bordeaux in Bordeaux, France. The Orchestre National Bordeaux Aquitaine will perform Bangalter\u2019s score, with musical direction by Romain Dumas. Find more information here<\/a>.<\/p>\n

In 2018, Bangalter contributed to Gaspar No\u00e9\u2019s Climax<\/em> soundtrack. The duo of Bangalter and Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo announced in February that Daft Punk had come to an end.<\/p>\n
