{"id":313150,"date":"2021-07-30T22:50:23","date_gmt":"2021-07-30T19:50:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/en.buradabiliyorum.com\/iss-reports-scare-after-engine-trouble-with-new-russian-module\/"},"modified":"2021-07-30T22:50:23","modified_gmt":"2021-07-30T19:50:23","slug":"iss-reports-scare-after-engine-trouble-with-new-russian-module","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/iss-reports-scare-after-engine-trouble-with-new-russian-module\/","title":{"rendered":"#ISS reports scare after engine trouble with new Russian module"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&#8220;<strong>#ISS reports scare after engine trouble with new Russian module<\/strong>&#8221;<\/p>\n<div>\n<p>Russia\u2019s\u00a0Nauka\u00a0space module\u00a0caused a scare on the International Space Station Thursday after its engines inexplicably lit up the hours after it docked in orbit.<\/p>\n<p>The \u201cunplanned restart\u201d of the module\u2019s engines inadvertently moved the entire ISS out of position for 47 minutes, according to NASA.<\/p>\n<p>During a livestream of the event, Mission Control in Houston said that NASA had \u201ctemporarily lost orientation control as the result of inadvertent thrust firings\u201d and that the error had knocked the station of alignment by \u201cabout 45 degrees.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>NASA later tweeted that Mission Control and the crew aboard the station had corrected the orientation and all systems were operating normally.
