Lily James has been raising eyebrows and having fans do a double-take whenever she posts transformation photos from her upcoming Hulu miniseries<\/a> \u201cPam & Tommy.\u201d The British actress is starring as blonde bombshell Pamela Anderson and the resemblance is truly uncanny<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Barry Lee Moe, hair department lead for the series, revealed to Variety<\/a> that it took \u201canywhere from three to five hours of hair and makeup every morning before we even started filming.\u201d<\/p>\n

The limited series also stars<\/a> Sebastian Stan as Anderson\u2019s ex-husband Tommy Lee, alongside Seth Rogen, Taylor Schilling, Andrew Dice Clay and Nick Offerman. Filming was completed on July 30 and will chronicle the marriage of Anderson, 54, and Lee, 58, as well as the unraveling of their infamous sex tape. The series is \u201chopefully coming out in February [2022].\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cWe ended up using 25 wigs in the end. Everyone from Seth Rogen to Nick Offerman, Taylor Schilling all wore wigs because we transform them into new characters,\u201d Moe continued.<\/p>\n

He added, \u201cSebastian is the only one who doesn\u2019t wear a wig.\u201d Stan, 38, grew his hair longer for his role as the heavy metal drummer. \u201cWe had a keratin treatment done, and we colored it every few weeks,\u201d Moe added.<\/p>\n

The M\u00f6tley Cr\u00fce member and the \u201cBaywatch\u201d star filmed their sex tape on their honeymoon in 1995. It was later stolen and made the rounds online and the former couple later filed a lawsuit against the tape\u2019s distributor, Internet Entertainment Group. Anderson explained on \u201cWatch What Happens Live\u201d in 2015<\/a> that she didn\u2019t make any money off of the explicit video.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve never seen it. I made not one dollar. It was stolen property. We made a deal to stop all the shenanigans,\u201d the Canadian native said at the time. <\/p>\n

\u201cI was seven months pregnant with [my son] Dylan and thinking it was affecting the pregnancy with the stress and said, \u2018I\u2019m not going to court anymore. I\u2019m not being deposed anymore by these horny, weird lawyer men.\u2019 I don\u2019t want to talk about my vagina anymore or my public sex \u2014 anything.\u201d<\/p>\n

While fans have been in awe of James\u2019 transformation, Anderson\u2019s bestie Courtney Love blasted<\/a> the miniseries in May. In a now-deleted Facebook<\/a> post, the 57-year-old wrote: \u201cI find this so f\u2013king outrageous. When Pam \/ Tommy sex tape was out \/ myself @pattyschemel @xmadmx were making a record. And the lone women in many recording studios in\u00a0la \u2026 Where all \/ ALL! The staff engineers \/ producers \/ owners \/ were watching the sex tape with huge schadenfraude . . Guffaws, It was disgusting. I banned anyone discussing it. It destroyed my friend Pamelas life. Utterly.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd shame on Lily James whoever the f\u2013k she is,\u201d Love concluded, adding, \u201c#vile.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
