“#McDonald’s to require masks for customers, staff<\/strong>”<\/p>\n

McDonald\u2019s is requiring all customers and staff to wear masks again in US locations with high or substantial COVID-19 transmission, the company said Monday.<\/p>\n

The mask mandate comes nearly a week after the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention changed their coronavirus guidance with a new recommendation that fully vaccinated people wear masks indoors in areas where the Delta variant is surging.<\/p>\n

The updated McDonald\u2019s policy app<\/a>lies to people who are fully vaccinated.<\/p>\n

Since the CDC\u2019s guidance update many other major US companies have also tweaked their own coronavirus-related directives.<\/p>\n

Last week, Apple reinstated its mask policy for customers and employees alike at roughly half of its US stores, USA Today reported<\/a>. <\/p>\n

Netflix, Google, Facebook<\/a>, Twitter and Uber are among some of the other companies that have adopted some form of vaccine mandate as cases continue to increase across the nation.<\/p>\n
