In a new partnership with CoinJar, Mastercard will enable the Australian market to spend cryptocurrencies within its fiat infrastructure. CoinJar\u2019s <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/blog.coinjar.com\/digital-coinjar-card\/\" data-amp=\"https:\/\/blog-coinjar-com.cdn.ampproject.org\/c\/s\/blog.coinjar.com\/digital-coinjar-card\/amp\/\">blog post<\/a>\u00a0highlighted that the newly launched CoinJar Card will allow users to make purchases in crypto \u201cwherever Mastercard is accepted.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The CoinJar Card will be made available for users through digital and physical cards and <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">App<\/a>le Pay and Google Pay integration. According to the official announcement, the card supports 30 cryptocurrencies, including prominent ones, such as Bitcoin (BTC), Ether (ETH) and XRP.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>After users choose their preferred cryptocurrency for payment, CoinJar will convert the crypto into Australian dollars before making the transaction. The company\u2019s announcement highlights having \u201cno ongoing fees and a low 1% conversion rate \u2014 returned to customers via an in-house rewards program.\u201d CoinJar CEO Asher Tan said the new partnership gives users day-to-day crypto functionality.<\/p>\n<p>CoinJar\u2019s partnership with Mastercard may seem like a comeback, given that the Australia-based crypto exchange had to shift to the United Kingdom\u00a0back in 2014 as a move against avoiding Australia\u2019s crypto taxes. By involving Circle, Paxos, Evolve Bank &amp; Trust, Metropolitan Commercial Bank, Uphold, BitPay, Apto Payments, i2c Inc. and Galileo Financial Technologies, Mastercard intends to allow exposure to cryptocurrency for its users.<\/p>\n<p>In this effort, the involved parties would use USD Coin (USDC) to counter the volatility prominent within the crypto space.
