Quack, quack, quack, QUACK QUACK!<span id=\"more-690000\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p><a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/deadline.com\/2021\/08\/the-mighty-ducks-game-changers-renewed-season-2-disney-plus-1234807433\/\">Deadline<\/a> has word on <em>The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers<\/em> season 2 finally being ordered after the first season came to a close at the end of May. Fans have been waiting and hoping for the show to keep going, especially after the scr<a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>y underdogs known as the Don\u2019t Bothers defeated the powerhouse Mighty Ducks and s<a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/trip-and-travel\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"10\" title=\"Trip &amp; Travel\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">trip<\/a>ped them of the franchise name that they no longer deserve.<\/p>\n<p>It was a long road for Evan Morrow (<strong>Brady Noon<\/strong>), who was cut from the Ducks for not being up to snuff, at least as far as the high standards of this elite youth hockey team were concerned. So he and his mother (<strong>Lauren Graham<\/strong>) decided to form a new team with a bunch of misfits (<strong>Maxwell Simkins<\/strong>, <strong>Swayam Bhatia<\/strong>, <strong>Luke Islam<\/strong>, <strong>Kiefer O\u2019Reilly<\/strong>, <strong>Taegen Burns<\/strong>, <strong>Bella Higginbotham<\/strong> and <strong>DJ Watts<\/strong>) who were far from skilled hockey players. With the reluctant help of a grumpy Gordon Bombay (<strong>Emilio Estevez<\/strong>), the coach of the beloved Mighty Ducks from decades ago, the team was able to come together and let the underdogs have their day again.<\/p>\n<p><!-- SlashFilm_300x250_In_Post --><\/p>\n<p>However, unlike most shows, the first season didn\u2019t really leave any dangling narrative threads for a second season. Thankfully, we already have some idea of what executive producer <strong>Steven Brill<\/strong> (the original <em>Mighty Ducks<\/em> franchise writer) and showrunners <strong>Cathy Yuspa<\/strong> and <strong>Josh Goldsmith<\/strong> want to do.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-690022 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/d13ezvd6yrslxm.cloudfront.net\/wp\/wp-content\/images\/mightyducks-gamechangers-bombay-snackbar-700x392.jpg\" alt=\"The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers Season 2\" width=\"700\" height=\"392\" srcset=\"https:\/\/d13ezvd6yrslxm.cloudfront.net\/wp\/wp-content\/images\/mightyducks-gamechangers-bombay-snackbar.jpg 700w, https:\/\/d13ezvd6yrslxm.cloudfront.net\/wp\/wp-content\/images\/mightyducks-gamechangers-bombay-snackbar-360x202.jpg 360w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px\" \/><\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"What_to_Expect_from_The_Mighty_Ducks_Game_Changers_Season_2\"><\/span>What to Expect from The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers Season 2<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Though the first season of <em>The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers<\/em> featured an awesome reunion of some of the original plays from the feature film trilogy, there\u2019s one major holdout who hasn\u2019t yet returned, and Steven Brill hopes it will be a major part of the second season.<\/p>\n<p>Former Mighty Ducks captain Charlie Conway (<strong>Joshua Jackson<\/strong>) doesn\u2019t make an appearance in<em> The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers<\/em>. However, when the other original Ducks get back together with Gordon Bombay, it\u2019s implied that maybe Charlie and Bombay aren\u2019t on the best terms with each other. Brill hopes to explore that in season 2. He previously told us:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cI always thought that Charlie\/Josh should come back in a real way, where we get to spend time with him. Not just a cameo or an episode, which would be fun.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><!-- SlashFilm_300x250_In_Post_2 --><\/p>\n<p>Another hopeful returning member of <em>The Mighty Ducks<\/em> is <strong>Kenan Thompson<\/strong> as Russ Tyler. Brill told <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/tvline.com\/2021\/05\/28\/the-mighty-ducks-game-changers-recap-finale-season-2-kenan-thompson-joshua-jackson\/\">TV Line<\/a> that Thompson said he could probably make an appearance on one episode of the show. The co<a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/social-mediaa\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"1\" title=\"Social Media\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">media<\/a>n is busy with his own self-titled sitcom on NBC and he\u2019s still an integral part of the <em>Saturday Night Live<\/em> cast, so his time is limited. When we talked to Brill, he said:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cWhen we talked to [Kenan], we said, \u201cWe\u2019d love to be able to use you in a real way and have you come in and not just be a cameo but come in and actually do some storylines.\u201d So that\u2019s the hope for the future, for sure. I think Kenan\u2019s Russ Tyler character went off to be on <em>Saturday Night Live<\/em>, strangely enough, and that\u2019s what Kenan did, so when Russ comes back, he could be a guy who was on <em>Saturday Night Live<\/em>. That makes perfect sense.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>But let\u2019s not forget that this new <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/watch-movies-tv-seriess\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"8\" title=\"Watch Movies &amp; TV Series\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">series<\/a> is about a whole new team. So what will they have to contend with now that they\u2019re positioned themselves as the new Mighty Ducks? What obstacles will they have to face? That\u2019s something we\u2019re still waiting to find out. But you can bet that they\u2019ll have to face off with the players who used to be part of the Mighty Ducks and now have to find themselves a new name.
