San Francisco 49ers star Nick Bosa\u2019s girlfriend Jenna Berman is stepping back from social media<\/a> after facing backlash for some of her old tweets. <\/p>\n

Berman came under fire Sunday when the Twitter account, \u201cResist Programming,\u201d resurfaced a series of tweets from 2013 and 2014<\/a>, in which the physician assistant student apparently used the N-word repeatedly<\/a>, as well as a homophobic slur and other racist language.<\/p>\n

Berman, who has not addressed the situation publicly, has since deleted her Twitter account. She also has made her Instagram account private, which has over 270,000 followers, and her TikTok account, which has over a million followers and often features Bosa in its videos. <\/p>\n

Berman\u2019s cookie company business page, which she shares with her sister Jordan, has also gone private, along with Jordan\u2019s personal account. <\/p>\n

The 23-year-old Bosa has not addressed Berman\u2019s tweets. The defensive end is no stranger to social media controversy. <\/p>\n

Bosa has faced scrutiny after previously calling Colin Kaepernick a \u201cclown\u201d after the former 49ers quarterback began kneeling during the national anthem in protest of police brutality. <\/p>\n

Bosa, like Berman, deleted his social media posts.<\/p>\n

\u201cI definitely made some insensitive decisions throughout my life,\u201d Bosa said after being selected second overall by the 49ers in 2019. \u201cI\u2019m just excited to be here with a clean slate. I\u2019m sorry if I hurt anybody. I definitely didn\u2019t intend for that to be the case. But I think me being here is even better for me as a person because I don\u2019t think there\u2019s any city that will\u00a0help you\u00a0grow as much as this one will,\u201d he continued, explaining, \u201cI\u2019m going to be surrounded with people, all different kinds. I\u2019m going to grow as a person.\u201d<\/p>\n

Last week, Bosa made headlines<\/a> after saying he hadn\u2019t received the COVID-19 vaccine. <\/p>\n

\u201cI haven\u2019t made a decision quite yet,\u201d Bosa said, echoing other NFL players who have not yet been jabbed. \u201cBut I\u2019m following the protocols and will see where it goes.\u201d<\/p>\n

The NFL has informed teams that COVID-19 outbreaks among unvaccinated players could lead to forfeits. <\/p>\n

Bosa and Berman\u00a0went public with their relationship\u00a0on social media in March.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
