Diddy<\/strong> may have shook the internet when he posted that ill-timed throwback photo with ex Jennifer Lopez<\/strong> back in May \u2014 but he now wants the world to know it\u2019s all (platonic) love!<\/p>\n

In a new interview with Vanity Fair<\/em>, the hip-hop mogul explained why he posted that brow-raising photo of him and the Jenny from the Block<\/em> singer from when they were dating back in 2000, just as J.Lo\u2019s rekindled romance with Ben Affleck<\/strong> started to make headlines.<\/p>\n

While some social media<\/a> users thought Diddy was trolling, or declaring that he \u201chit it first,\u201d a la Ray J<\/strong>, the Bad Boy Records<\/strong> founder claims thee was no shade involved at all! He says it was just his way of celebrating his ex, as he simply thought of the photo as a \u201cthrowback from a great time in his life.\u201d<\/p>\n

He also made it clear that the post was in no way an attempt at wooing the superstar singer away from the Argo<\/em> actor. He shared:<\/p>\n

\u201cIt wasn\u2019t no trolling involved. That\u2019s just my friend.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

His friend. That he used to date. Just total #breakupgoals. He added, regarding the resurgence of Bennifer:<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd I don\u2019t have nothing to say about her relationship or her life.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Well, that settles that, we guess?<\/p>\n

Diddy went on to say that his outlook on both love and life changed after the 2018 death of his ex Kim Porter<\/strong>, who was the mother of three of his kids.<\/p>\n

The 51-year-old confessed that if he were to ever get married, it would\u2019ve been to the late model, telling the outlet:<\/p>\n

God willing \u2014 I would have had more time. I look at my life as, \u2018I got a second chance.\u2019 I\u2019m on my second mountain.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

This so-called \u201csecond mountain\u201d app<\/a>arently involves Diddy living his best life. He shared:<\/p>\n

\u201cI am the happiest I\u2019ve ever been in life. I laugh the most, I smile the most, I breathe the most.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

J.Lo, meanwhile, has been living her best life with Ben. An insider recently confessed to People<\/i> that Bennifer 2.0 are completely dedicated to making their relationship work this second time around, explaining:<\/p>\n

\u201cThey want to do everything they can to make this work. Even though their split many years ago was devastating for Jennifer, she has never had a bad word to say about Ben. She believes that it just wasn\u2019t meant to be then and feels like they\u2019ve been given a second chance\u2026 Ben wants to protect what they have.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
